What is the FSW Program?

The Federal Skilled Worker Program is one of Canada's federal immigration pathways managed through the Express Entry system. It targets skilled workers who possess the qualifications and expertise crucial to Canada’s economy. Eligibility is assessed based on factors like age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and adaptability, ensuring selection of highly qualified candidates.


Application Process


Eligibility Check: Determine eligibility by evaluating qualifications, work experience, language proficiency, and other criteria set by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).


Create an Express Entry Profile: Complete an online Express Entry profile with accurate information on skills, work experience, education, language proficiency, and other relevant details.


Enter the Express Entry Pool: Profiles enter the candidate pool, where they are ranked based on CRS scores.


Receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA): Candidates with high CRS scores regularly receive invitations to apply for permanent residency through Express Entry draws. ITA recipients must submit applications within the specified timeframe.


Submit Required Documents: Provide all necessary documents, such as educational transcripts, work experience certificates, language test results, and supporting documents, for verification.


Obtain Permanent Residency: Upon approval, successful applicants

and their families can obtain Canadian permanent residency and begin their new life in Canada.
